Brent Stokes

Brent has been actively involved with the Early Childhood Education and Care sector since becoming an Approved Provider in 2006. Bringing a fresh perspective, Brent owned and operated a successful boutique group of early learning services before becoming a first time farther in 2016. More recently Brent has been the CEO of Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland (ACA Qld), advocating for the best interests of children, families, early childhood educators/teachers and service providers. Brent has volunteered on the ACA Qld Management committee since 2008 and been an active contributor at the Federal level to supporting the sector through positive change. This year has provided some of the most challenging but exciting experiences in successfully navigating through such uncertain times.

Brent is extremely excited to join the high performing team at The Scholars Group as the General Manager of Scholars Consulting. Being an owner of an early learning service operated by Scholars Consulting, he has a unique perspective of understanding the balance required to achieve the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders. Brent's objective is to deliver a premier service to clients to ensure they have the confidence to live a Scholars Consulting lifestyle!

Brent's passion for early learning is providing a safe, happy, sustainable, and healthy educational environment for families and early childhood educators alike while pushing the boundaries for managed and calculated risk. He wants to make a difference by being a part of improving care and education in early childhood through play. Brent is passionate about continuing to enhance the perception of early education and care and the professionals who work within our fantastic sector.
